The E Mist extraction unit is design for neat oil coolant applications that are found on Swiss type lathe, utilizing double pass ESP technology, efficiently filters particles down to sub-micron levels. Its compact design enables direct machine mounting, while its energy-efficient operation consumes no more than 390W. As air passes into the combined ioniser / collector cell, the particles in the air stream are polarised. As they continue through the ioniser and between the collector cell plates, the polarised particulates are repelled away from the positively charge plates and attracted to the earthed plates where they stick and are filtered out of the air flow. With minimal maintenance requirements and low operating costs, it also features variable speed control.
